Night fountain lighting is not only about choosing bright lamps. The light angle, water height, basin color, and walking distance all affect the final view. A tall jet often needs a narrow light beam from below, while a low fan-shaped spray may look better with a wider beam. RGB lights can create changing scenes for music shows, but single-color warm or white lights may fit hotels, parks, and quiet courtyards better.
Cable sealing and lamp housing are important because the lights work near water for long periods. During design, lamps should be placed where they can be removed later for cleaning or replacement. If they are buried behind fixed stones or pipes, a small repair can become slow and costly. A simple lighting plan often works better than too many mixed colors, especially when the project needs a calm public night scene. The final test should be done after dark, because daytime checking cannot show the real beam range.
